1. I believe that proper grammar and spelling are important at all times. If you have a learning disability, occasional mistakes, or English isn't your first language it's ok as long as you actually try.

2. I do not think that abstinence education should exist, and I think that sex ed in schools needs to be a lot better.

3. It aggravates me when people use Christianity as a motive behind their hate and ignorance.

4. I think that homosexuals should have the same rights and privileges in all aspects that heterosexuals do.

I do not believe in god. I am a scientist and will believe in only that which can be proven.

I do not believe in forcing my feelings upon others. You can think what you want, and let me think what I want. I am sick and tired of people looking down on me because I don't believe in a higher spiritual power.

I hate politics and everything with it. I vote republican *hangs head* (even though all my stances on issue are liberal), because I just want people to leave me the f alone. Let me keep the money I earn. I worked d@mn hard for every penny.

I hate taxes and I think the money is spent unwisely. I couldn't get away with running my household the way people run our govt.

I think qualifications to get welfare need to be looked at. Good people who need help are getting denied, and there are others whose families have been on welfare for generations get handouts and never think twice. It is disgusting and I don't want to pay my taxes towards people taking advantage of the system

I am for gay marriage. Two people who love each other have every right to declare it and receive the legal benefits of marriage

Gay couples should be allowed to adopt and would make great parents, just as much as hetero couples

I hate smoking more than anything else imaginable.

I am pro-choice

I think basketball is a stupid sport and I hate American Idol with a passion.

I think reality TV is a bunch of crap. American Idol and so you think you can dance are not reality TV. They are just drawn out game shows. TV execs found out a way to hold a game show for an entire television season and only have one winner, and people still watch. Those wheel of fortune/jeopardy suckers have to give out money every week.

Since you're asking for unpopular opinions-

I think that anyone who plans to have a baby at some point SHOULD get a purebred dog from a breeder, NOT a rescue from a shelter (and not a pet store). I know it's sad that so many homeless dogs are out there, but I really feel that you should see and interact with the dog's parents, do extensive research on the breed you are considering, and be pre-qualified by a reputable breeder in order to bring the right dog into your family. Shelter dogs may be fine, but it's risky and I wouldn't recommend it unless you already have older children that can handle a dog that might have issues.

I love gay marriage and universal health care, hate the death penalty (under any circumstance).

I think drinking milk is morally wrong (unless it's a life or death situation for an infant or somebody is starving/malnourished). I think "big" agriculture/farming is disgusting.

I think places like Walmart, babies r us, target, etc. are disgusting too, and I feel dirty when I go there (and I've been there a lot lately). I hate being such a consumer!

I think the earth has climate cycles and global warming is not a fact. Take a look at the 2 feet of snow and subarctic temperatures outside my home. Smile

I do listen to Fox news as well as HLN and CNN and MSN. I make informed opinions after hearing all sides.

Which makes me a coward. Since I don't normally think of myself as a coward I guess I'll jump in.

I hate Sarah Palin. And no, I've never met her but everything that comes out of her mouth scares me--including her weird beliefs on dinosaurs, death panels and all that nonsense. It scares me more that she's now a part of Fox news--I don't think politicians should participate in a "news" program.

I am a journalism major and the idea that the very politicians we're supposed to judge objectively are now feeding us our opinions--it's frightening.

I also don't think she's hot, pretty or well put together and if she was such a wonderful mother where was she while her underage daughter was having unprotected sex and getting pregnant?

I feel for Bristol's situation because I know it happens every day but I hate that there are now shows like Teen Mom which make it look OK. Although I haven't seen it yet.

I love my dogs--I have three of them but sometimes I think people need to remember that there is a big difference between loving/having a pet and having a baby. They aren't the same.

I get sick to my stomach when I hear people discussing assassinating our president for no other reason than the color of his skin.

I come from Mormon pioneers including buddies of Joseph Smith and Brigham Young and that bums me out. A lot.

I plan on homeschooling.

I think epidurals are a fantastic thing and have begun to give the side-eye at those that want to go natural. (I still love you ladies, though).

I'm a prude.

I don't agree with abortion as I don't think it is just about the woman.

I hate most names that are in the top 100 and give a side eye to anyone that names their kid anything in the top 10.

I'm sure there are more, but I'm distracted.

I have a couple more before I pass out lol.

1. I can't stand the people who try to say that the Bible should be taken word for word. It has been translated so many times by so many people that there's no telling what it really says. Also, a lot of the stuff in there is to be taken metaphorically and applied as it fits. It is not the end all be all.

2. I think it is wrong to judge people just because you disagree with them. There will never be 2 people who agree 100% on everything. Having a difference of opinion is fine because that is what makes the world go 'round.
