I'm wanting to make a slideshow of pictures with music that shows our journey through my pregnancy, Landon's birth, and pictures of us as a family, etc. Is there a website or something that I can use to do this?
Snapfish will make a quick generic one for you. You can edit it and email it to family and friends. If you want to make a "real" one I would use Windows Media Player... takes LOTS more work though
Is Windows Media Player something that I can download or do I need to buy it? I don't mind it taking lots more work.. It's something I've wanted to do for awhile, so I want to take a bit of time to do it.
Re: How to make a slideshow?
There are a bunch of applications. RockU.com has one. I used Animoto to make a big part of DS's 1st year video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1U7ZMQXWLs&feature=player_embedded). Both will let you do it to music.
If - music is OK, you can do Flickr/Snapfish -- most photo hosting services these days will do slideshows for you.
You can look on windows.com downloads for a version of Windows Movie maker. If you have XP Pro you already have it on your local computer.
