I'm not that big (13 weeks) but my tummy is super dry and itchy! I use cocoa butter every day after getting out of the shower and my tummy skin looks like I spent all day out in a desert. Anyone else dealing with this?
I was using that but I had better luck with Gold Bond Ultimate Healing lotion. It keeps the itch away all day!
Your little hands wrapped around my finger and its so quiet in the world tonight
Your little eye lids flutter cause your dreamin so I tuck you in, turn on your favorite night light
To you everything's funny, you've got nothing to regret
I'd give all I have hunny, if you could stay like that
Oh darling dont you ever grow up, dont you ever grow up, just stay this little
Oh darling dont you ever grow up dont you ever grow up, it could stay this simple
I wont let nobody hurt you, wont let no one break your heart, no one will desert you
Just try to never grow up
yes!! Even my boobs are dry and itchy! Lotion isn't working the greatest for me, it helps for a little bit...then we're back to nastly looking dryness!
Ladies, I'm just lurking looking for some friends. But I've got a great lotion recipe that might help the skin. I'm not pregnant yet, but have really dry skin, and this helps SO much.
Buy one bottle of baby lotion. I like getting the vanilla oatmeal smell because I had the baby powder smell of the original, but get whatever one you like best.
Get a jar of vaseline, you need 6 oz.
And then either 1 oz of vitamin E oil, or 4 oz of vitamin E lotion. Personally, I use the oil and think it works better.
Pour a full bottle of baby lotion, 6 oz of vaseline and 1 oz of vit.E oil into a metal mixing bowl. Metal is important! Use your electric mixer to whip it all together until smooth.
You'll have to wash everything really well. I wash once by hand and then in the dishwasher as well.
I store the lotion in ziplock brand tupperware with the screw on lids.
It works great, and you could even use it on your baby when the time comes. This recipe is from my aunt who is a dermatologist.

2nd for Gold Bond Ultimate Healing! It works wonders... you only need a little and it goes a long way... AND it doesn't leave a sticky film. I ordered it from drugstore.com for about $12 but BRU had it for 50% off so I picked up one for reserve.
