40 week 3 day appointment = FAIL.

Doctors appointment = FAIL. Head is not engaged at all. He has managed to turn himself back to the posterior position, which = major back labor for me, thanks kid. Still extremely active. Oh and let's not forget the side-eye from the nurse when i stepped on the scale. "You still gaining weight?" she says "Should've slowed down by now". WTH? Who says that??!! Grrrr. ::Slinks off to eat Big Mac & McFlurry::
 
I have an nst, u/s to check fluid, & exam scheduled for Friday. Here's to hoping I don't make it that far, but all signs are pointing to the fact that I will. Boooo! The only silver lining in all this is that Doc thinks we are only looking at a 7lb'er at this time. I know that is just an estimate but it gives me hope that i'm not going to be trying to deliver a giant LO at 42 weeks!

    That stinks. Do a lot of cleaning on your hands and knees (or lean forward on an exercise ball) and get that kid turned around! Good luck at your appointment on Friday!

    We should be overdue labor buddies... because apparently, we're the 2 women on this board who will probably end up having their babies at 42 weeks (if ever....)!!! ?

    Totally! When is your next appointment?

    Tomorrow afternoon. ?I plan on begging for them to up my induction date (which is currently 1/19-- EDD was 1/4!) ? According to the growth u/s, he's not a HUGE baby (less than 8 lbs) so at least we have that going for us!! ?

    I did have somewhat of a bloody show this morning, so hopefully that wasn't just a tease.?

    Sounds like our doctors both went to the same "let them wait it out till 42 weeks" school! LOL. I can't believe how many women on here have doctors that will induce before or at 40 weeks! GL at your appointment tomorrow...be sure to post an update. I'll be curious to see if you get that date moved up.
