How do I get LO to take a soother?

I keep trying and he just gags and spits it out.  Any suggestions?

  • do you think he needs one?  some babies don't like pacifiers.

there are other pacifiers out there that aren't shaped the way soothies are.

Soother is a paci/binky?  My DD only takes a paci in the early morning when she's struggling to stay asleep or in the car.  Other than that, she spits the suckers out.  She loves to nom on her fists, tho.

This. Aidan only takes one in the car, or in the middle of the night sometimes. His fists are his chew toy of choice.
