Some women choose to have In Vitro Fertilization in order to get pregnant, but Jennifer Lopez is definitely not one of them.

According to J. Lo, she never considered IVF as it goes against her Scientology Catholic beliefs.

The 40-year-old opens up to Elle magazine in a recent interview and explains:

"When it comes to family and relationships, I'm quite traditional. Just because of the way I was raised.

And I also believe in God and I have a lot of faith in that, so I just felt like you don't mess with things like that.

And I guess deep down I really felt like either this is not going to happen for me or it is? And, if it is, it will. And if it's not, it's not going to."

So deep.

But luckily for Lopez, she was able to conceive and managed to give birth to twins at the age of 39.

Guess she really must have prayed hard.

Oh sure, having twins naturally at almost 40 with no previous pregnancy is TOTAL normal and to be expected. Also- grandma is expecting triplets naturally as well.

The whole scientology caltholic thing is him making fun of her, hence the reason scientology is crossed out in the article. She didnt make the term up. People say she is a scientologist but she claims she is still catholic. That is why he was making fun of her.

Well I always had my suspicions... but to be honest, whether she conceived through IVF or not, is no one's business. Being an IVF patient myself, I respect her right to privacy. I am certainly not blabbing it to the world. In fact, only my immediate family and 3 close friends know. It is an extremely personal subject that doesn't require discussion. What I don't like is that if she did do IVF, she surely should't be going on and on to the press about her faith and not messing with God's will..... I believe that despite science playing a part and having a hand in the conception of IVF embryo's, God still plays a big roll - because otherwise all IVF's would be successful and no one would have to repeat twice, three times or more to conceive. Yes, the Doctors put the eggs and the sperm in the petri dish together, and can even put the sperm into the egg, but that does not guarantee an embryo will form, or even that the embryo will attach to the uterine wall and grow. I do believe that IVF babies are miracles, mine certainly is.
