This last cycle I had it lasted about 40ish days! My question is do you think I might of just skipped of a period and I shouldn't count those 40 days as a cycle, and just go by 28 day cycle. I like to use the Ovulation Calculators. My last period was November 14th; then I didn't finally start again until December 28th. I know the Ovulation Calculators are not as accurate, but I'm not trying to be pin pointing it exactly anyways. So when it asks how long the cycle was should I put the 40 or 28 as an estimate?
I've never gone that long without a period before so I seriously thought I was pregnant, even though the sticks kept being negative. lol
Also on a side note & a random question; When you become pregnant do you think you will refuse a pap test, and only get one after you have baby? I was reading something about this today and it got me wondering about it. I'm not sure if I would refuse or not.

Re: Cycle is usually 28 days but....
If it was 40 days, why would you put 28? No use fudging!
I didn't think they gave pap smears while pregnant.
YOU NEED TO GET A PAP. Seriously. Call your doctor and get one as soon as you can.
It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!

Our baby girl was born on April 27, 2011!
If you're TTC you really should look into charting instead of using the calendars. Even if you are "regular" it is very normal to have an off cycle from time to time.
ETA: why do you think paps are bad???
Oh vey this post makes my head hurt.
Your cycle was longer than 28 days. Why would you call it 28 days? Thats ridiculous.
Were you on BC when your cycles were 28 days?
Ovulation calculators are pointless. Use fertilityfriend.

I'm confused. Are you TTC or not? If you are TTC, then you really do want to get as exact as possible.
Also, you definitely should call your doc and schedule a pap. By the age of 21, you should be taking better care of your body. ( esp. if you are thinking of becoming pregnant)

FWIW I don't think you missed a period, i think you had a long cycle. You can put in what ever cycle length you want but if you are going to use ovulations calculators, you might as well just ask my magic 8 ball if it's a good day to have sex.

Is it?
MCB.. I know ive said this before but you really are a riot...
Please please please get a Pap done ASAP...I would've probably developed full blown cervical cancer by now if I had not been vigilant about mine. It is something to take very seriously.
And ovulation calendars are a joke.
