What's a good baby shower game??? Share please!

My mom is searching for a baby shower game... Any ideas to help her out? She's not exactly good with the internet of I think she'd find one on there.  What do you think? What's a good baby shower game? Share please!

Thanks!

  • I actually hate shower games, but the one I think is fun, especially if you have a fairly young crowd, is matching celebrity moms to their baby names.  It is easy to google for lists.

  • I have one that's an any shower game and can be adapted to baby.  Make up a list of secret words Mom to be can't say.  Each guest gets a whistle and a card with secret words on it.  Everytime mom says one, first guest to blow the whistle gets a point and mom opens a gift.  Guest with the most points at the end of the gifts gets a prize.

We played this at the last bridal shower I had for a friend.  if it's going too slowly, add more words to the list, and guests should try to get the secret words out of you.  I thought it was more fun than just sitting in a circle watching someone open gift after gift.

  • At my shower all the guests decorated white onesies with fabric paint.  Not exactly a game, but a very cute activity and people seemed to have fun doing it.

  • Shower gift bingo always seemed fun. You can purchase/order bingo cards that are printed with typical shower gifts, or you can simply make up a chart of bingo squares, give the guests a list of typical shower gifts (or items from the registry), and the guests fill out their own bingo cards for a few minutes while you set up for opening gifts. Then, provide 2 or 3 ways guests can get bingo (e.g. straight line, x pattern, full pattern), and guests are paying close attention as the mom opens gifts to see if they can win.

  • We played this at my cousin in laws and it was pretty funny:

at every table place one baby bottle filled w/ 3-4 oz of orange juice. Play some music and play like hot potato passing the bottle around. When you stop the music the person holding the bottle has to go to a table up front. There they have to chug the juice out of the baby bottle and the winner gets a prize. It's not easy, believe me!..but def fun to watch

  • It was gross, but surprisingly fun; my friend's hubby insisted on it since he had to be at the shower.

    The poopy diaper game

You pick 10 different candy bars and microwave them in diapers, smooshing them around.  Guests have to guess what kind of candy bar is in the diaper.

And there's always the standard wrap-mom's-belly-in-toilet-paper game, where people have to guess the number of squares it will take to go around.

  • For my sisters baby shower I put plastic pacifiers on strings.  Every person had one at their seat.  And I put 2 cards on the table saying the rules:

Everyone wears the pacifier necklace at the table.  Whoever says the words "cute" or "baby"  can have their necklace stolen.  The person with the most necklaces at the table wins a prize.

It is so hard not to say those words at a baby shower!!

  • I saw this on another post.  You put plastic babies in ice cubes, put the ice cubes in the guests drinks.  The first one whose water breaks----ice cube melts and baby is floating in the glass wins.
  • Ugh, shower games...lol.  Not a fan of those!!  I really have no good ones to suggest.  I secretly hope we don't play games at my showers, lol.
