Trying to Get Pregnant

lets talk about cervix position shall we?

I have done some internet reserach on this and the info is split...so...what are your thoughts?  I know if you're KU your cervix is soft, closed and high.  And during O your cervix is also high.  However...what happens during 2WW?????  If you chart your cervix position...what are your experiences? I didn't chart or pay attention to my cervix position for my first DC because I didn't do internal CM checks, which I now do so I'm more weary of where my cervix is.  My cervix was high until this morning (4DPO) when it dropped.  What are your thoughts?? Can this be used as a sign I'm not KU this cycle...or is it different for everyone??? TIA!

  • I found mine to be low, hard, and closed the first 15 weeks of pregnancy or so (sex hurt!). 2WW it was just kinda, right in the middle, now that I look at my old chart.

  • Mine is low and firm during the 2WW, however, a day or so before AF arrives, my CP is high, soft and open.  Also, CP changes at different rates for people who are KU, so CP is not a good indicator of pregnancy (just clearing this up before someone posts, "My CP is HSO, and I'm past O, am I pregnant?")

thanks for clarifying for others.  And for the peanut gallery...I always look for signs I'm not KU instead of the other way around so I'm just curious.  I know it's different for many people...just picking brains on what you normally see during 2WW if you chart CP!

  • I am totally clueless when it comes to CP. I've read that it can change depending on time of day and that seems to be true for me. Texture and opening are a lot easier for me to determine.
  • Looking back at my charts, I'm always low, firm and closed during the 2WW and when I was pg.  I have noticed that it's a progression from soft, high and open when I O to low firm and closed about 3-4 DPO.
