Azoo girls: how many DIUI's for Baby #2??
We are thinking about when we would like to TTC for #2. Tell me how trying for #2 was different for #1. Did you start from the beginning or did you go straight to what finally worked? How many cycles did it take for #1 and for #2? Did you have singleton or multiples? Just being curious and trying to get prepared for this mental rollercoaster again. TIA!

With DC#1, my 1st IUI worked; however, they told me during my 2ww that they would try a different protocol if that IUI didn't work because Clomid had no effect on me and I ended up using injectibles so they would just do IUI w/injectibles and no Clomid. Luckily, the 1st time worked.
So the 2nd time, I had IUI w/injectibles and the 2nd time worked. We ended up with twins on that time!

Doing well, thanks! As you can see by my outdated picture and ticker I have been keeping really busy at home and work. Gavin is turning 3 this Friday (still can't believe it) and the twins are 17 months old! It's amazing how quickly time flies. DH and I say we are done and have sold back our vials and the donor is discontinued so unless we have a half-sibling, we are done. Recently, I have kind of had baby fever again but I know that 3 kids is hard enough to deal with, not to mention the finances. I just hate that our opportunity to consider having kids in the future is limited to vials and availability!

3 already!!! We are good. We are in a transition time of new jobs and such, but we found out yesterday that our donor is retiring and what vials he has left is IT. So that's why TTC #2 is on my mind. We probably won't do anything til later this year, probably august at the earliest, but i want to make sure i have a full blood sibling for Abby. Abby is at the BEST stage right now. Walking, learning to talk, 8 teeth. I love it. I can't wait to add another one to our family.

Well, i talked with the bank again yesterday and found out he will have one more batch coming out today of 25 vials and then that is it. He had about 25 vials last week, so i suspect he will probably be out in a week or so. I talked with DH last night, and i think we agreed on purchasing 4 and shipping 2 to begin with. if it works, great we can sell the other two back, if it doesn't we will have a few back ups. we only plan on doing this once more, so we aren't going to purchase a ton. we will either have two kids or three (if we have twins or somehting LOL). But that's our plan. and since more are coming out today that will give us a few days to get our finances lined up to purchase the vials.
zoog - That sounds like a good plan regarding purchasing that amount of vials. It's such a guessing game! But at least you have a plan!

Yeah, I have been a slacker! I will try to update the pic tonight and post tomorrow! Obviously, the twins look completely different...now that they can walk and all! haha!
With both girls, we were successful on our second DIUI attempt. I did everything the same; clomid and metformin, lucky socks, the works.
