I think I'm going to have to steal a baby.

Apparently the waiting list to even get in for a home study with this agency is right around 18 months now.

*sigh*

At least it'll give me time to get the house in shape, I suppose.

    Sorry, Fred, totally forgot.

    Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley.  Apparently that's our "best bet" to end up with an infant, according to the three other agencies we've also spoken with.

    I hope the time goes by really quickly or even better that the wait becomes shorter. The good news is that you are on the list, just look at it that way and try to be patient and stay positive.

    Domestic.  Considered international, but that's an even more complicated and drawn out process.

    You may steal my son every Monday from 8am until 5pm if you'd like! Heck, I'd even pay you to steal him! 

    I work 7p-7a Sunday night and then come home to take care of Munchkin solo until 5pm.  He NEVER naps on Mondays--EVER.  But the rest of the week I get a 2hr morning nap and a 3-4hr afternoon nap from him!
