Ergo New Generation 1 vs. 2

Hi Everyone,

 Anyone have personal experience with an Ergo New Generation 1 vs. a New Generation 2?   I can get a NG 1 used for $50.  Is it worth it?  I could buy a new one (NG2) with some gift cards I have, but could also use those cards for something else, so I'm torn.  If there's a big difference, I'd go with the newer one, but I just don't know.  Thanks!
