kidney stent

Hi everyone! Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. At 31 weeks I went to hospital and was found to have kidney stones and they needed to put a stent in. Putting the stent in caused me to go into preterm labor. After being in the hospital for a week they were able to stop the labor and sent me home on bedrest and procardia. I am almost 35 weeks now :) but have been in such pain from what I am told is the kidney stent. It hurts to stand, change position, urinate. Has anyone else had an experience being pregnant with kidney stent or a similar situation????

    I feel for you. I had kidney stones at 34 weeks but was able to pass at least most of them and the pain stopped so they sent me home before needing a stent, but I was almost in your position. The ultrasound seemed to show more stones are there so I'll have to see a urologist post delivery for a follow-up. I was told by several doctors that the kidney stone pain is so much worse than labor. Good luck - at least you're 35 weeks now and don't have too much longer to go!
