40 week appointment....

NO CHANGES AT ALL........................LO is apparently comfy and is in no hurry to make his debut. Doc said "See you Friday" - induction date. Boo - I was hoping for better news. Oh, but I did gain 5lbs this week - yay - not!!!!! Nurse said, "o my, you are suppose to slow down at the end". Blah - I don't even care at this point. I'm offically 35lbs bigger than my prepreggers weight, however the last 12lbs came in the past month!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    dont worry! anything can happen. I was a fingertip dilated with my 1st and he was born 2 days later on his due date.

    GL!! Maybe baby will come on its own before Friday.  You still have some time :-).

    Same boat!  I think I will be induced on Friday as well.  I find out for sure on Wednesday.

    Nice. I gained 3 lbs between the 39 and 40 wk appts. Neither I nor my Dr cared anymore (and she has cared very much when I've gained more than 1 lb in a week in the past). My induction is also Fri. Dr was optimistic that she'd see me before then, but I'm not so optimistic. 4 days left, at the most. That's not so long, right? Ugh. Feels like it will be a long week.

    GL Hope he comes before Friday! Infact, hope mine comes before Friday too! LOL. But my doc won't talk induction till next week!!

    Keeping my fingers crossed for you! I get my next appointment on Wednesday and then we talk induction...its kind of a scary thought...but dont worry about your weight gain, last week i had gained 7 pounds in one week!!!! oh my!!!!  My little boy is just like his dad too, he's just too lazy to come out i think, i'm still 1cm and only 30%
