Update on hospital bed rest

They now tell me I have to stay here until 36 weeks.  The hospital I'm at is two hours. away from my home and it's the closest that can handle premies.  Also, I've been dialted to a 3 and 60 effaced since 12/31 (or longer) and the babies are breech and they tell me if my water breaks the cord could fall out and that would be bad so they can't risk sending me home.  However, they don't think I'll make it to 36, they said they were surprised I have made it this far. 

I can't eat, drink, sleep or breath without pain but I am still pregnant so I know I should be happy.  This twin pregnancy business is hard stuff!

    It sounds like you're really uncomfortable, but doing the right thing.  The going home scenario sounds pretty frightening!  You're doing a great job of keeping your babies in, keep it up!

    You are doing great and everyday the babies get to stay cooking is about 3 days less in the NICU. Try and stay positive, take it one day at a time, and I think you will do great.

    I will keep you and your little ones in my thoughts.

    Hang in there,  you are doing great.  So sorry that you are uncomfortable and the uncertainty must be terrible, not to mention that you are so far away from home.  You will be in my T&P.

    I was on hospital bedrest last year for 6 wks.  I went in at 25 wks and had my babies at 29w6d  You'll be ok.  I know it's not fun, but after you have your babies, it will seem like your stay was short.  Take care of those babies!!
