Um, when did Starbucks start carrying...

RED VELVET CUPCAKES???

I ran in to get a coffee and they had vanilla bean cupcakes, double chocolate cupcakes and RED VELVET CUPCAKES.  Omg.  I was almost drooling there in line.

But I didn't get any.  Boooo.

    It's been a few months I think. Not all of them carry them though & I don't think it's an every day thing. I had the red velvet a while back & honestly it wasn't that good. Hope that helps lol!

    Ohhh geez.  I WILL avoid the cupcakes.  I WILL avoid the cupcakes.

    They had a big sign up on the menu board advertising their new pastries.  They have have frosted mini-donuts.

    Confession: I have never had red velvet anything...and have no desire to either.  I don't get the appeal.  I think it's the color that bothers me.  Is it really that good?

    Another reason I am thankful DH goes to Starbucks to pick up our daily order on the weekends.

    Those are licensed stores that sell Starbucks coffee, not pastries.  LOL.  I'm such a nerd and a former Starbucks partner/slave for the past 7 years.

    it tastes like cocoa because there's cocoa powder in the mix.  and cream cheese frosting is always good, but there are plenty of cakes i'd eat before i ate red velvet.

    I Know!!!  I was there last week and saw it!  I had to control myself and not buy one.  I didn't but it sure looked delicious!
