Every other day

I decided to have sex every other day this cycle, just to see if that helps at all. But as I approach ovulation, I am finding it hard not to just go ahead and have sex every day! I just don't want to miss an opportunity. Any one else try every other day and feel like this?

I have always told myself that I wouldn't be ridiculous when it came to having sex, but I'm feeling the same way! I know logically every other day is perfectly fine and it really only takes once, but I know exactly what you mean by not wanting to waste an opportunity.

Yes. Around O time, we have sex every day...I get nervous we missed the window if we don't.

I was going to have sex every other day this cycle and then I went to the doctor and he said when I have a + OPK I should have sex. So, we had sex 3 days in a row. Fingers crossed!

I've been wondering if we should try this. We usually have sex every day. I've never told DH when the window is, we just kept our same schedule from before TTC. I'd feel kind of strange telling him to plan to have less sex.

Yeah, we had sex for the last three days, and when I talked to DH earlier he said something about how I can touch his penis when I get home if I like. (Classy, huh?) I don't know that I feel like doing that.

My OB told me before our first BFP that e/o/d was the most effective method. It has worked three times, first cycle, for us. But of course, everyone is different.

I am trying to stay positive but I think I am around my ovulation time (if it hasn't happened already) and we have not had sex since Friday early morning. I would really like to be trying every day or even every other day but I am afraid to bring it up because the last time I mentioned it DH told me he didn't like me talking about making time for sex later in the day. I tried to put the moves on this weekend but he was working a lot and was very tired last night so it did not happen. Anyways, it is just strange wanting sex more than my husband, I always thought it would be the other way around, and I don't know how to voice my wants. Hmm

This is our first month TTC and we're doing the every other day and OPK route. We started e-o-d on CD10 and yesterday (CD19) I got a +OPK. Luckily, we had sex on Saturday, Sunday (+OPK), and we're going to keep it up today through Weds. So, we've had sex e-o-d AND every day around ovulation and I'm still worried about timing. I know, it's crazy! I keep thinking that we should have had sex this morning and that now we may have missed our window, which is nuts since we're doing it every day! I keep thinking the TIME of the day matters. Oh boy. This is exhausting! Stick out tongue

I know im the same way. when I was on BC I was okay with 2-3 times a week and he has always been more like 4-5 a week and now that I am wanting it more he has been so stressed out with work and then redoing the hosue at night.. its strange to me

We're trying every other day this cycle and I feel the same way! It's so hard not to have sex every day. Boo on every other day. Hopefully it gets us both KU!
