Definite Dampness - Any Guesses?

On my way home for lunch today I felt a little trickle down below.  When I went to tinkle, there was definite dampness in my underwear and had even gone through to my pants.  No crazy breaking, gushing, or anything like that.  Is anyone else having this and do we think it's amniotic fluid leakage or maybe the beginning of losing my MP?  It's definitely dampness and not thick discharge.  It's almost as if I'd been sweaty like when it's 98 degrees outside, but we're in the teens today, so not sweat.  :)

    Same EDD! And yes, I've noticed my discharge is more watery. Actually last night I got a little concerned after I got up to pee in the middle of the night, when I was walking back to the bed, I got a little umm...squirt, not enough to drip or anything, but it was definitely damp. I'm curious about this slow leak too.

    Hmm did you try laying on your side for awhile then standing to see if you get any more of a gush/trickle?

    Doesn't sound like water breaking to me, but definitely keep your eye on it.  Can you lay down for a little bit?  Then stand up and see if there is more.  Call your MD if you really don't know.  Good luck!

    If your water breaks "high" it can be a trickle.  Lay down for 30 minutes and then stand up.  If more comes out I would call your doctor.

    I've been having the same thing lately.  I figure that I am just having extra discharge.  It definitely wets my underwear through and makes me wonder!

    I asked today at my appt. about an increase in watery discharge. She said it's just another symptom that labor is getting closer!

    That's what it was like for me when my water broke with DS, just a little trickle, no huge gush. Call your doc and they'll test it to see if it's amniotic fluid or not.
