Hi! Does anyone know if there are laws in MD that require employers to give moms a place/time to pump milk? There is nothing in our employee manual about it.

Maryland unfortunately has no workplace breastfeeding laws that I was able to find when I was getting ready to return back to work. Discuss breastfeeding with your employeer and hopefully you will be able to work something out. My office has been very understanding of my needs and we figured out a solution that works fine for everyone involved. Is it ideal? No. But here I am still pumping 7 months later.
I'm about 99% sure there is one but now I can't find where I read about it. Most places are pretty good about it because they will look bad if you were to raise a stink.

I'm not aware of one unfortunately. I'd suggest talking to your employer about the fact that you'll be pumping & want to know if there will be somewhere private that you can do so since you will need to pump at work.
I'm pretty fortunate, right now I can use DH's office (we'll ask if they can install a lock) & when our office moves, they'll have a special open office w/ a lock for if anyone needs "private time" (they didn't want to say "so you can go pump" to me, lol!)
The only other option would be locking yourself in a bathroom stall (yuck)

About half of the states don't actually have a work place pumping law unfortunately.
