1 follie instead of 2

Good morning ladies,

 I posted on Saturday that it looked like I was going to ovulate with 2 follies.  On CD10 (Saturday) I had one on the left and one on the right that were both 15mm.  RE said I would more than likely O both.  Today I went in for monitoring and the right stayed at 15mm while the left grew to 21mm.  I triggered this morning and IUI is scheduled for tomorrow morning.

I really thought I'd have better chances with 2 follies and was excited this time (since last cycle I only ovulated 1).  Of course, my mind is telling me 1 is good because I only want 1 to fertilize and implant.  But still...I feel like my chances are reduced.

Anyway, we're still excited about this cycle...everything is crossed!

FET to TTC #2: 9/29/14 Beta on 10/8/14 = BFP!
DS #1 Born 1/3/11 after IVF #1
4 failed IUIs, including 1 CP
PCOS
TTC since 2008

    I can understand your disappointment.  But don't let it get you down! 1 strong one is great! Lots of luck!

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    You never know - that 15 might gain another mm before you trigger.  You could still ovulate 2!

    You only need one egg and one sperm to make a baby :). So keep the  positive thoughts and I'll be praying for you. When is you beta?

    I am in the same boat, this morning, CD14, I have one follie at 21.5 and one at 15. I will trigger in about 30 min, and my IUI is Thursday. My RE felt the 15 may have a chance...hopefully we both get lucky! Fingerscrossed!
