how long is bath time?

DD loves taking a bath and would stay there forever but I don't want her to get cold.  She takes a bath every other night and right now she get in the bath and plays for about 10 minutes and then I wash her body and hair, rinse her off and get her out.  How long is your lo in the bath and how much water do you use?  She sits in the "big tub" and I would say I run the water so it's past her belly button when she's sitting down.  It seems to be the right amount but I don't know.  TIA for any advice.

  • He is in there for about 20 minutes. He loves to play with all his toys and hang out. When he starts to get cold or bored, he'll stand up and try and get out. That's how I know he's done.

  • 15-20 minutes.  we brush teeth and do soap first then she sits and plays for the rest of the time.  same amount of water you described.
  • as short as possible as he screams the entire time.  The boy hates baths.

  • 10-15 minutes top. I only fill it 4 inches high or so.

  • DS and DD  bathe together for 20 mintues, then DD by herself (while I get DS dressed, fed and putdown) for another 20 mintues or so.
  • about 20 minutes. we also run a heater in there to keep the bathroom warm.

  • We give DD a bath every night. She has one of those primo euro baths. We fill it all the way full and she has a bath that lasts about 15-20 minutes. It probably comes just below her beeewbies when she is sitting down.

  • D's bath is usually 15 minutes, max.  We usually put enough to not quite go to his belly button, but then when we are washing his hair, we run more, so by the time he's done, that's about where the water is.  He loves playing in the bath, but always lets us know when he's done.
  • maybe 10 minutes? we keep it pretty short now that it's winter. we actually started giving DS showers, and he's in there maybe 5 minutes.

  • around 10 minutes or so.  We fill the tub the same amount, wash him, brush his teeth and then let him play for a couple of minutes before we wash his hair.  I would let him play longer but he gets cold really quick.

  • 99% of the time dd gets in the bath every night. I also fill it up to her bellybutton.  She enjoys it accept the times that I wash her hair which is every 2 days. She stays in there for about 15 minutes
