We shut dd's door at night. We have 2 dogs who bark at random noises, and a cat who turns into a spaz at 3am. So do you shut lo's door at night or leave it open?

I was leaving it cracked but now I might have to start just shutting it cause if she wakes in the middle of the night she hit it and it closes cause her crib is right next to the door.
We shut DD's door because she is a light sleeper and wakes up at any noise. But we leave DS's door open a little so he can get out of his room if he needs up(he is in a toddler bed). DS can also sleep through ANYTHING.
It is just slightly cracked. We used to have it open a little more, but now we found that it stays warmer in there if we have it just slightly cracked. I don't want to close it all the way though or it will probably get too hot in there.
shut the door when we put him down and before we go to sleep we open it... we have a gate up so he can only come to our room or stay in his. sometimes he joins us in the early morning hours and kicks one of us out of our place in bed.
Always closed. Aside from my dogs that bark randomly overnight, it is also a fire safety issue. All four bedroom doors are closed at night.

We close his door during naps and at night--we're in a small apt. and noise travels (not to mention the bathroom is unfortunately right next to his room). Right now I'm really wishing we could leave it open because we don't have central heat and his room can get really cold once the door's been shut for a while.
Used to be shut but now it's open. We moved him into a new room and it's the coldest in the house. If I don't keep the door open then it gets too cold.
Shut it. We have two cats that we don't really want in her room, plus DH gets home after she goes to bed and her room is right by the door. Sometimes it wakes her up even with the door closed, so she would probably be up every night if it was open.
Re: s/o lo's room: door open or shut?
half open
his room gets really cold if I shut the door all the way
Shut unless she wakes up at 3am for a lost paci. Then I leave it slightly cracked. Not sure why I do this and if H gets up, he shuts it.
closed but not latched
But that is for safety in case of fire, nothing else.

Shut. We don't want our cats getting in there, and the living room area is right off his room. We can be loud sometimes.
