Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

DS's cheeks have been super red all week....

...and I have no idea why.  Think I should be worried?  Could this be teething related?

  • DS's have been this way too.  I have read it can be teething realted and I think DS is working on his 2 year molars.  it comes and goes...morning they are ok an get worse as the day goes on.
  • jack gets super red cheeks right before teeth pop through. it could very well be teething
  • DD had this last Christmas when she was getting her first set of molars (it's odd because it hasn't happened since, and she has all but one of her 2 year molars).  They were almost florescent red.  They then turned almost blue...it was super odd, so we went to the Dr.  Turns out that it was only teething, and it was because she is so fair (I'm one of those people who gets red the minute I exercise, and stay that way for hours).  The Dr laughed and said that it must be the Irish in her!
  • DS's cheeks have been ultra red due to teething and the cold, dry weather.

  • D's cheeks have been really red because of the weather. I've been putting some ointment on and it seems to be helping to soothe them.
  • DD's canine top teeth are coming though---finally---and her cheeks are uper rosey----definitly teething---asked the pedi when she was first getting her teeth---confirmed
