For those of you who continued to breastfeed during your pregnancy, how did it go? Did you notice a drop in your supply? Did you supplement with formula? Any advice you can give me?
I think my supply has taken a dip but I'd like to breastfeed for at least another couple of months if possible.

Re: Moms who BF while pregnant
I am still nursing upon waking and before bed at night - but my son is 26 months. My supply is pretty much gone at this point as the body ramps up for colostrum production... I know not all women have that experience and their supply never changes but mine really has. DS maybe swallows 5 times per side before he stops and says there's no milk left and wants the other side. It's sad but nice in some ways for me - I am ready for a break. We night weaned and cut out two day time nursing sessions during the past 18 weeks as it just got to be a bit too much between his activity levels, my energy levels and my nursing aversion.
I'd recommend the book "Adventures in Tandem Nursing" if you think you want to continue nursing through pregnancy or both children at once once the new baby is born. I just got it yesterday and I wish I'd had it from much earlier on. A bunch of mothers recommended it and I just never got around to picking it up - it is fabulous, though. I've read almost all of it already and its very interesting.

I'm still nursing - really trying to make it to a year w/DD. My supply did drop off a lot once I got pg, but she can still nurse in the morning and night and I pump once while at work and usually get about ~5-6 ounces. So, not great, but not horrible either. Thankfully I have a nice stash of frozen milk, so she's still getting just as much milk as she wants. She's starting to wean herself a bit (not finishing her bottles at daycare, that sort of thing).
She refuses to drink formula, so I'm thankful I have that frozen milk. It was challenging when we were traveling over the holidays to make sure she was getting adequate nutrition (I couldn't bring my frozen stash with me), but otherwise it's been fine.
I'm hoping to cut out the pumping session at work once she's past 1 year and just nurse her at night / in the morning.
