funny pregnancy brain moment (to me and dh, anyway!)

i went into the pantry to scoop out dogfood to put in their bowls and the first scoop i got, i turned around, stepped on the pedal on the garbage can and dumped the dog food right into the garbage...what???

as soon as i let go, i realized what i had done and dh and i were cracking up.  doesn't this get worse after the baby is born? i said to dh 'what if i try to put the baby in the refridgerator?'

    I haven't really had any super bad pg brain moments, that I recall, but I do find myself losing words constantly. This morning I was trying to remember the real name for "Roly Poly" bugs... and all I could think was "Doodle". *Eye roll*

    haha...not sure what bugs those are, but that's funny.  potato bugs, maybe?  i lose words all the time.  it's the strangest thing.

    LOL That's totally something I would do.  A few weeks ago, I started to get dressed for bed. As in dressed. I had my bra on and was reaching for jeans when I snapped out of it. LOL

    I have lost track of the number of loads of laundry I've done without detergent.  Or the number of times I've put clothes in the dryer, cleaned out the lint tray and then walked off without turning the dryer on.

    We were moving some furniture around to make room for the Christmas Tree. DH had been moving a ton of things and lifting a bunch so I said I would vacuum. I stood up and went to where the vacuum was last. DH was just staring at me as I said "Where's the vacuum?" and he began laughing. I realized I had stood up from the chair I was sitting in and walked around the vacuum to where I thought it was supposed to be. We laughed a good 10 min over that one.
