My Brest friend worked better for us since DS was a premie and we also ha some BF issues. The boppy can create gaps between you and the pillow, where my Brest friend allows LO to stay in a stomach to stomach position. The boppy will be great for tummy time, but for me and BFing I preferred my Brest friend.

I originally registered and received the Boppy, but then we had a Lactation Consultant visit us right after DS was born and she brought over a My Brest Friend and I loved it, much better and more supportive for breastfeeding.
I love having the Boppy too, because we use it for lots of things: DH gives DS 1 bottle/day and uses it for support, we use it to prop up DS sort of like a lounger, it provides good support just for holding DS or when friends/family hold him. I also plan to bring it on the plane since we'll have DS on our laps the whole time (4.5 hour flights).
*As a side note, I would try and find the soft fleecy cover for the My Brest Friend - the regular fabric covers aren't as soft and cozy. Also, PBK has the best slipcovers for Boppy IMO.
I have both, but I much prefer the Boppy. I use the football hold, and I found it was difficult to use the MBF for anything other than tummy to tummy - especially if you're sitting in a chair with arms.
We also use the Boppy for tummy time, propping DS up on the couch or in bed if he doesn't want to be held, and sometimes even as a pillow for myself!
I have both and prefer My Breast Friend over my boppy. We were having latching issues and a lactation consultant suggested MBF. It was seriously the best adive anyone gave me! MBF helps me position baby much easier then the boppy and has really helped with our latching issues. I also like that MBF has a flat surface, it allows me to set LO up and once he starts feeding, I'm able to free up one of (sometimes both) hands to do other things...
I also think MBF "fits" much better than a boppy (no gap like someone else mentioned). We're still using our boppy but more for tummy time.
I hate Boppy (for nursing)! My Brest Friend is the reason I'm able to breastfeed. With the Boppy I had to use a ton of other pillows to prop her up and it was impossible to get comfortable.
I used the Boppy last time. I still have the Boppy but my two My Breast Friends work so much better. There's much less nipple pulling and pain with MBF.
I bought MBF b/c I definitely think it's better for BF'ing. Unfortunately, after the first week i couldn't BF (supply issues) so in the end a boppy would have been more useful for tummy time and things like that.

Re: Boppy vs My Brest Friend
