I am shocked that those posts stayed civil and level headed. Congrats on having a conversation about something that is such a personal decision and could have gotten heated very quickly. Yay for 3rd Tri!

    There was more snark directed at Snowflake/DianeN9 for asking who'd delivered already than there was at ladies who had dissenting opinions regarding punishment.  I was also pretty shocked.

    The only one that got me was the girl who said she pops her 5 year old DD in the mouth, but I didn't even bother saying anything.  That bothers me though. 

    I was spanked and I don't have any lasting emotional damage LOL. So was my DH. I just worked in social services, in a group home, for a few years out of college and realize there are things to try behaviorally before spanking.
