I've figured out the fastest way to heat milk!

Maybe some of you do this already but I feel like a genius.  Instead of trying to heat the bottle in hot water, I've started pouring the milk into a Ziplock bag and then running hot tap water over the baggie.  If you set the baggie in the sink it flattens out so with the hot water it gets warm in like 30 seconds.  It's so much quicker!  I use a funnel then to fill the bottle, it's a little tricky to pour it out of the baggie.  Just thought I'd share!

  • Good idea!  Here's a tip for pouring out of a baggy - cut a corner off of the bottom of the baggy - it creates a little spout to pour out of.  This is what I do with my baggies of frozen BM.

Haha I do this when making cookies! I use the sandwich baggies as pastry bags to put on icing.  Works wonders!!

  • This is why I love playtex drop in bottles b/c the liners are just a little thicker than a ziploc bag. We put a cup of water in the microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes and it heats up really fast.
