Stupid recurring dream has me in tears!

I have dreamt several times in the past few weeks about my dog that died a year and a half ago. I keep dreaming he didn't really die and I've just been ignoring him all this time, or he's just been in a corner of the back yard where I didn't look.

I know some people don't understand, but I really feel like he was the best friend I've ever had, and these dreams have me waking up a total wreck. Crying
