Any Abbott NW mamas?

Hi!  I am set to give birth at Abbott any day now.  I was just wondering if anyone had any experiences to share about their stay?  Also, was the three person visiting policy and terrible hours strictly enforced?  I want family to see the baby right away, not from the hours of 11am to 8pm.

    I had a good experience there.  You'll honestly be so tired and have medical staff coming in all the time, that you'll probably appreciate the visiting hours.  Not sure if it was because they were strict or everyone was so tired, but it was really quiet on the post partum floor at night.  Good luck!

    I also had a great experience at Abbott.  I don't really remember them being very strict about visitors, I had my husband, parents, and family friends there all at once. The rooms get a little cramped with everyone, but that is the only down side. 

    Everyone is great there!

    My sister just had her baby there at the end of Nov. She had a great experience. She was told by the nurses that they will be lax about the visiting hours if that is what she wants, but anytime it got to be too much they would step in and get strict. Everyone does have to check in when they get to the floor and fill out paperwork indicating that they are not sick. Hope that helps.

    I just had my baby there two weeks ago. The nurses are WONDERFUL! I do believe there were people there in the wee hours of the morning waiting for babies to be born, however I do think the visiting hours are enforced.
