how late was AF before you got your BFP?

I'm 9 days late, tested two days ago and it was still negative. no idea when I ovulated either! not really paying attention. thanks in advance!

    I tested on the day AF was due, and I got a BFP.

    I tested on cycle day 30 and 35 and got BFNs.  I *think* my cycle should be around 32 days.  Tested again on Day 44 and got a BFP.  I either ovulated super late or the little one did not implant for a few extra days, or both.

    Carson Henry, born 39w, 2d, via emergency c/s due to no fetal movement and fetal distress.  Seizures, IVH grade 2, brain injury, kidney and liver damage.  Complete blood clot in the artery in his right arm.  27 days in the NICU.  Now discharged from all specialists, excepts his kidney doctor, who will monitor him indefinitely.  My tough little cookie.

    I got a +HPT the day I should have gotten my period, but I had an IUI and was told when to test (OK, I cheated and tested a day early).  You probably just ovulated later than normal.  Test once a week until either AF or BFP.  If you get to CD60, call your doc.

    Maybe you are drinking too much water before you test?  One of my friends is excellent about drinking water but it kept diluting her urine!  I tested about 10 days before my missed period, first thing in the morning.

    TTC# 1 Since 10/2005----Diagnosed with PCOS March of 2006
    multiple failed cycles, multiple IUIs, lap with ovarian drilling 4/2008
    Finally BFP on 11/23/09 beta#1=36 beta#2 =62 beta#3=139
    Liliana was born on March 27,2010 at 21w5d due to infection and pre-term labor
    BFP #2 on 6/20/10 after Gonal-F and TI First u/s showed Twins! 
    TTC#2 since 02/2012 with out RE... 
    Back to RE 08/2016----- Cycle #1 10/2016 Femara 7.5mg=???

     6/09 right tube loss (fallopian torsion) 12/09 BFP #1 (DD born 9/10)

    I tested the day after AF was expected... BFN. Tested everyday after (I'm OCD) for 6 days and then finally got BFP.

    You could have ovulated later than normal and you actually aren't late.

    I tested at 9 or 10 DPO and got a very faint positive.

    thanks everyone. I am hoping I just ovulated late. I usually have 26 day cycles, like clockwork. but have no idea when I ovulate. day 35 today.

    If you don't know when you ovulated, you don't know if you're late. Keep testing every week until you get a positive or your period.

    This. If you're not already doing so, I would recommend charting on fertitlityfriend. It helps you to know when/if you're ovulating so you know when you are in fact late. FF is extremely helpful in achieving pregnancy and most of the girls on the TTGP board use it to pinpoint ovulation. If you click on the ticker in my signature you can check out FF and sign up if you'd like. GL!

    Mine was day 26 firs thing in the morning..I'm irregular (as short as 23 since going off BC) but that is my average length, and it came up super fast!

    One day, but I charted and knew when I ovulated.  You could just have ovulated later than usual.

    I usually get AF at 11 DPO so I tested after my temp stayed high that morning.  Good luck!

    I took the test the day I was supposed to start! That's only b/c my boobs hurt like a something serious and they never ever do before AF starts so I just had a gut feeling that I was pg.!
