Went on the pad hunt last night and new underwear. I totally felt like I was 12 and my big sister was walking me through all the pads I need for my first period. She also scared me a bit when she got a wee bit too graphic!
Yeah... I felt 12 with the pads thing, and also with the "I've suddenly got blackheads in random places on my face, and pimples on my back/shoulders" thing.
In addition to being 12, I'm also 80, because I have strange coarse hairs growing in random places on my body/face as well.

Pregnancy is AWESOME for the self-esteem.
I'm getting the whiskers. I found a dark hair on my neck yesterday and had to pluck that bad boy.

I hope that they stop coming back after the baby's born, otherwise my Electrolocist is going to be thrilled to see me coming in again after like 6 years of me not having to go see her for anything.
Ergh, I am not ready for this step. Pads give me diaper rash. And I know I'm not the only one, so don't you girls try to deny that sh!t.
Did you pick up your witch hazel too, Murf?
No actually it was very handy to take my sister who has 4 kids! She was like I hate those pads love those ones it was very helpful indeed if you all want my pad list I will share LOL
As for the witch hazel I didn't she said my hospital gives me the pain spray and she thinks that works the best. I was like oh should I stock up on wet ones and she laughed she said "think cut and rubbing alcohol in it" So she reccommended like one of those sport drinkers for like the hockey players with the long tube and you put water in it and squeeze and it shoots out and is much better than toilet paper

LOL I wouldn't recommend a squirt gun Its kind of like THIS but with a longer spout thing and to make it squirt you just squeeze the bottle and water comes out. The hospital should give you one. Also she said to bring creamy stretch mark cream or lotion to the hospital because you will itch like crazy as your belly goes down.
And... That sounds awesome. No wonder Europeans use a bidet. It's for post-partum painlessness. Bidets for everyone!
OK she said Kotex was her favorite. No allways she says they can hurt. Get the ultra thin in 3 different sizes the overnight size because they are super long and you will need them a super size and a regular size.
My hospital supplies the "squirt gun" Thanks for the heads up on the pad sizes... have you seen the ones at the hospital? I am pretty sure I could raft to Africa on them, Holy sh$t!!
