if you dont want to start formula, try and nurse him as much as possible, offer it often and drink lots of water. mine dipped at that point and came back...until I cut him to 2 times aday.

For DH fInd a good website discussing BF'ing hormones (specifically prolactin) and how they're impacted by pregnancy hormones (specifically estrogen and progesterone).
Let him see the science behind this.
It's not always something you can control.
As for when to start giving formula a good trick is to BF until you're empty (check by squeezing) and have a bottle of formula handy to "top him off"
That way you're still maximizing your breast stimulation but you're making sure he's not going away hungry.
If you find there are certain feedings (usually the last of the day) where he's pounding down a ton of formula right after nursing you may want to wean that particular feeding.
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
