Okay moms, so I went to a 2 hour breastfeeding class the other night as part of our prepared childbirth classes. The instructor said it's okay to start pumping at 4-6 weeks, at which point the baby will supposedly be more okay with going between breast and bottle.
When did you start pumping? Did it go okay?
Thanks ![]()
Re: 3rd tri ?: when to start pumping?
I've already pumped a bit, because I amso engorged, and the LC told me to pump a little off before a feeding to allow DS to latch on better. So, by the time I pump an oz off each side before a few feedings a day, I already have enough to store in the freezer.
However, we will not be giving any bottles until around the 4-week mark.
