white noise question?

My LO has been pretty fussy for the last week or so, The vacuum cleaner and white noise machine have become our best friends to calm him. It only works if its pretty loud, Do you ever worry about the noise being too loud in your LO ears? Should I worry?

    No. The Happiest Baby on the Block video said that it's actually pretty noisy in the womb and most things were heard as the sound of the vacuum cleaner, which is why that works. DS is a pretty easy going baby so we haven't had to resort to the vacuum cleaner but we do use a couple of noise makers.

    This.  And we place the machine in the corner of the crib.
