Spam and macaroni cheese...

Is what DH and I finally settled on having for dinner tonight.  We were debating on going out for sushi, nice steakhouse, pizza.... but truth neither of us feels like going out.  He is still in his dirty work uniform on and I don't have any make-up on.

It may sound really gross but it is delish!  DH cooks the spam until it is so crispy on the out side and soft on the inside.  Soooo fattening...

    Fry it up and put it in a sandwich with a little mustard. Mustard only mind you.

    Yum!  Its funny how half of the people I know that like spam only know it for breakfast food and dinner.  I tried spam sushi and that was super yummy.

    Spam-----  Ick!  

    I have never had spam, but it sounds so yuck...

    We always use chicken strips for our mac and cheese if we want something quick and easy.

    So we have "cook offs" at work and one of the special ingredients for one was Spam. I was so happy that day, because a lot of people wouldn't eat it. Biscuit and gravy made with spam, burritos,  ect...it was great.

    Thanks girl. I can honestly say I've never had Spam either, but Colleen the healthy/Colleen the crunchy is creeped out by Frankenmeat. It might very well taste good. It's still Frankenmeat.

    Thanks girl. I can honestly say I've never had Spam either, but Colleen the healthy/Colleen the crunchy is creeped out by Frankenmeat. It might very well taste good. It's still Frankenmeat. 

    Hey don't get me wrong, I only eat it ever 5-10 years. We used to eat it often when I was a kid though because it was cheap. It isn't necessarily good for you but it taste good

    I was an ag major in college and went to several processing plants and saw meat like that made.  I have no need for Spam or hot dogs....

    I will be honest here, I can't stand it straight out of the can but I love it when it is sliced and fried.
