Babies: 9 - 12 Months

DD is grinding her teeth

And it totally grosses me out. I've read a few places that it is probably just her getting used to having them in her mouth (if that makes sense) but could be signs of an ear infection. She hasn't shown any other signs of infection, but I can't stand the noise it makes. Does anybody else have a kid that does this?!

  • Kate did it a TON. It drove me batty.  The sound was like nails on a chalkboard.  She did eventually outgrow it, but it was awful!
  • Yes, Brendan started it right away when he got a top & bottom tooth.

  • Kate does this when she gets new teeth. So annoying! She does it for about a week, then it gets old.
"Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies. God damn it, you've got to be kind." - Kurt Vonnegut
