Wesley (nn Wes)?

Hi everybody,

So our baby is a surprise which is lots of fun except in the name department!  If it's a boy, we're strongly considering Wesley (nn Wes).  We want classic but not common, but at the same time we want something that people (in general) like and isn't outdated.  We could really use your honest opinions!  TIA :).

    Wesley probably qualifies as "classic but not common" now.  A few years ago it would have fit into the " way to popular" category.  Just don't get wierd and name your baby that if it is a girl...LOL!

    I really like the name Wesley. Its my BIL's name and he uses the nn Wes. I also agree that its classic but not too common. Go for it!

    I think that its a fine choice and it meets everything you wanted.  Its a good solid name and is still popular as far as I can see!

    I am loving this name lately, especially with nn Wes.  Love the names that are easily pronounced and recognized, but not totally overdone.  Good pick.

    My LO is Wesley :) He goes by Wes.  I obviously love the name! Everyone I meet always comments on Wes being a great name. Whenever we go to the doctor and they say Wesley they always say "what a big name for a little boy!" lol but I've gotten many positive comments on his name.
