I think I inadvertently(sp?) just offended some parents

They registered their child and asked me if I had coloring books and crayons for her because "an hour and a half is a long wait"

I responded:"Yesit is, especially for a little one. So many parents always bring lots of toys and books and snacks to keep their kid amused"

I didn't mean to insult/offend and didn't realize I did until she said "Well I didn't think the wait was going to be that long"

FAIL

I don't think it's a FAIL. I think she was just oversensitive...and doesn't keep enough fun things in her purse in case of emergency.
