About 48 hours before it was 256, so it's not quite doubling within 48 hours (though it's still fine if it doubles within 72 hours, right?). The doctor says it looks good, so that's comforting at least. I wish it'd doubled already just for my peace of mind, but at least it's going up!

That's a good number! My RE said every 48-72 hours was normal so you're well within the range.
