Okay all you Rx experts...question..

What does "1+ refills before 2011" mean?? Is that one more refill and more requests are to come??

    I've never seen a "1+ refill" before on a prescription.  Maybe the doctor just wrote it wrong by mistake? what is it for?

    It's for my pp anxiety meds. I was off of them for about 8 weeks but am back on them. I have to go in for my OB exam before they will give me more, but that's on the 26th. I'm honestly suprised she gave me a refill at all.

    I was just curious. I didn't notice it until I got home or I would have asked them. Maybe I'll call them next week just to see.

    i'm pretty sure it mean you get as many as you want until 2011.

    I am an MD.  I have no idea what "1+ refill before 2011" means.  Is that written on the bottom of your perscription? 

    Maybe it is an "and" sign.  Like one refill, and do it before 2011 or it isn't valid anymore.

    Thank you! And thanks for your advice. I like hearing from people who know about these things when I have a problem like this. I really think you were right... that it was on their VM the whole time. But no worries, I got it no prob.

    It's written in the "refill" space.. .. where it says how many refills you get. But if you're a doctor and don't know what it means, I'm sure it's a mistake. I love this NP but she messed up my last Rx bigtime.. ... she prescribed me 1 pill at a milligram that doesn't exist...lol. Maybe she did something again, IDK. They are really busy lately.

    I am a PA and have never seen something like this before. I would guess it is a typo. I would call the pharmacy out of curiousity.
