We are surprising our MIL with a trip to OC and a family photo shoot for her 60th birthday. My SIL just emailed me to coordinate clothes.
What should we do? Have all three girls in the same outfit? Pick a few colors and wear a mix of those? The weather report says 72 today (so that throws another curveball. This SFer isn't used that kind of weather in Jan/Feb! But maybe it won't be as warm in a month.)
Help please
Re: What to wear? Family Photo Shoot (6 adults/3 girls)
What a fun idea!
I vote similar solid colored outfits. Patterns do not photograph well.
I agree about the patterns.
I like it when everyone just dresses as though they're going to the same place. That way it's the same level of dressy, but you're not matchy-matchy.
The problem you might run into is if one or two of you is naturally more dressy than the rest...you might have someone who particularly cares for pictures (and never any other time) get bent out of shape for being under-dressed (yes, my SIL,
) - but it's still an accurate representation of your personalities.
Ditto!
