So we moved into this house November 1st, and have been really slow getting things in order. Lastnight DH, DS and I were curled up in the bedroom watching some Thomas and Friends before munchkins bedtime and we heard a knock at our door. We weren't expecting anyone so the house(livingroom) was torn up thanks to my two year old. I normally clean the house after he's asleep so it was just bad.

Anywho, I open the door and its this litle old lady who lives next door holding a plate with tin foil covering it. She came to introduce herself since I haven't met her. She brought me a GIGANTIC slice of homemade chocolate cake!!! She was so sweet. I just ate a slice off of this cake and oh my word is it so good!

    I've had that happen too. My neighbor was working in his garden the day we were moving in, so he picked some tomatoes and brought them over when he introduced himself. Gotta love living in the South!

    Lol I'm actually in Washington...but its easier for people to know Greenville. unless you lived around here you wouldnt know there was a Washington NC lol

    oh yeah, I know "little Washington". I actually love the waterfront there and prefer their WalMart... I live in Simpson, also just outside the city limits.
