I get made fun of constantly by my co-workers for saying certain things with a Southern drawl. I love my accent which normally only comes out when I'm mad or with certain words.
If I could have any accent though, I would love a French accent. So pretty and sophisticated sounding.
If you could have any accent what would you choose?

I love Indian accents. I also love Irish accents.
I used to want an Australian accent, but then I watched an entire season of The Biggest Loser Australia and lost interest.
Italian, especially if it meant I lived in Italy!!
I loved my Southern accent when I had it. It's been so long now since I've lived there that it's faded, but it comes right back when I talk to my southern friends. Or when I drink, lol.
Brazilian
But, I'll take my Chicaaaaago accent on the East Coast any day.

My family makes fun of me for this now.
That's so funny how that works. Mine really comes out when I'm mad or even when someone is on TV with a drawl. What brought this all up was that Geico commercial with the pothole. After seeing that I was talking like a belle and they started joking on me.

if i could have a new one i'd pick irish. i think with the way i look i could genuinely convince people i was from ireland.
I love that commercial - sounds like Britney Spears. "Did Iiiii do that?'
If I had a choice I'd go British.
That's what I've always thought.
You would ROCK an Irish accent!
ETA: And then I would have a girl crush on you.

Australian, for sure!!
Do people really tell you that you have an accent up there? I don't think I have an accent being from Texas and people in MD told me I did all the time when we lived there!
Irish or Scottish.
Or even British. And I'm talking Queen's English, here, not Cockney Guttersnipe.

All the time. I don't have a heavy accent by any means but I do tend to draw things out and you can definitely detect a bit of South especially on certain words and definitely when I'm upset and/or talking fast. It gets mentioned a lot.
People in MD don't think they have an accent either but they definitely do.
