I remember reading to only eat hard cheeses, but lately I have been so worried about getting enough calcium. I have been eating the Sargento string cheese, which is mozzarella. I have had like 2 or 3 servings like every day the last week. Then for some reason today it dawned on me about the soft cheeses. Is this going to hurt my baby? I am so worried.
Re: Cheese while pregnant???
This. The cheeses you can't have are the unpasteurized like brie, blue, some goat, feta. etc. You're fine with mozzarella, chedder, provalone, jalapeno, and the list goes on and on and on and on...
My doctor said NO soft cheeses and she gave me a list of ones I should avoid including...
Mexican styles: queso blanco, fresco, de hoja, asadero,
Non-Pasturized feta, goat cheese, brie, camembert, blue-veined cheeses.
Even most of the cheese you mentioned are pasteurized in the US. Just check the packaging. You only really need to worry about imported fancy cheeses.

Ditto. DD & I pretty well killed off a wedge of delicious & pasteurized brie last weekend. lol
Yeah I hate that bc I LOVE feta cheese!!!
You can still eat feta! Just double check the label to make sure it's pasteurized.
