Anyone with growth issues?

So I was told based on my 1st tri screening I had a low papp-a hormone which could be indicative of growth issues later in pregnancy.  Well, lo and behold, we now have issues.  I had a growth scan at 27 weeks and he was measuring on target with everything and in the 52nd percentile.  Today, everything is measuring okay, except for his belly, which is 2 weeks behind and he is now in the 28th percentile and a couple ounces shy of 4 lbs (at 32/4 weeks).

So now I wait and go back for another ultrasound in 3 weeks.  If he doesn't get any better, they will deliver him then at 35/36 weeks.

Has anyone had growth issues get better?  It's a placental issue and there is nothing I can do - bedrest/supplements/etc to make this better and I feel so GD helpless.

Thanks for any info and if you could spare some T&P's that would be great too. Smile

    I didn't have any screenings that told me anything about papp-a hormone...however at 28 weeks they told me one of the twins (the smaller one) belly is smaller in proportion then the rest of her and that could mean placenta issues.  (think she was at 34% growth ratio then as compared to her 49% twin).  They did another scan at 30 weeks and it's still smaller, but they also checked blood flow and she had grown well enough so they were not concerned.

    FWIW, I had asked on the multiples board about this when I had the 28 week appt and several ladies responded that their next scan was better.

    At my 20 week appt she was measuring on track... at 32 weeks she was a little behind and at 36 weeks everything was on track except her belly which was measuring at 32 weeks. So I've been going for non stress tests and ultrasounds to measure the fluid twice a week now. Everything is lookinng good, but the dr wants to induce me 3 days before my EDD if I haven't had her yet... although I am having contractions about 5 minutes apart right now! :)
