Met with my OB today, I will be having an ultrasound on the 22nd (24 weeks). If there is a medical reason to induce, which is likely, then we will go forward with the birth. If they see no reason to induce, I will go back in 2-3 weeks for another ultrasound and repeat the cycle until there is a reason to.This whole pregnancy feels like it has been a waiting game, but I am going to try and cherish these last few weeks with him. Hopefully he will make it through the labor, which sounds like it might be a long process, our whole goal is to spend time with him while he is still living. Thank you for your support throughout all of this.
ETA: His heart rate was at 150 today, which is good, but I am measuring
on the small side. I am barely measuring at 17 weeks when I will be 22
tomorrow, so he may not be growing properly anymore.
Re: XP: May be meeting Eli soon
I hope that whatever needs to happen for you to get some time with your son, happens. You are so brave and strong, and he is so very lucky to have parents who love him so much already. God bless you and your family.

I wasn't familiar with your story until now since I haven't been on 'thebump' until this week... I got caught up on your blog for the most part.
You are such an unbelievably strong woman (whether you think so or not) - and I can only hope that I would have your strength if something like this ever came into my life. I know I'll think about your family often, and will pray that you get to spend some quality time with Eli once he's finally born!
p.s. I think you & your husband picked the perfect name for your son!!
