Any suggestions for a toy that lights up and has sounds as well but isn't huge or really loud? DD loves her Vtech move & crawl ball but she keeps trying to reach for it and gets frustrated since she can't go after it yet. I want to get her a toy that is small in size and could fit on the bumbo tray or high chair tray. She loves sitting in her high chair and playing while I'm cooking/cleaning in the kitchen.
Re: Need a toy suggestion - one with lights & sounds
Violet ds as my pal Scout. Violet is the girl version. DS loves Scout!

this
only problem is that you have to hit the button every few minutes to keep it going. Eventually DS will be able to do it himself.
My DS has my pal scout and LOVES it!
He also is very into his vtech baby lap top and vtech Learn and discover steering wheel (both have lights and sounds)
Not sure if these are practical for what you need them for, but Nora loves these (I got them both at BRU but can't find them on the website):

And this I plan to get (I have seen other babies love this one):

I second the Take Along Tunes, really cute!
We also have one of those stackers that everytime you add a piece it lights up. She's too small for it, but likes to look at it.
We had this and it was nice. We had to return it though because it would only occasionally work and they haven't gotten any back in yet.
We also have the Move and Crawl ball and it always gets away from DD. So frustrating to her. She really likes this:

I love v-tech toys. I know this one says 9-36 mo, but its basically just slamming buttons and you don't need to be 9 mo to do that. DD uses this sitting and during tummy time (really helps extend the dreaded tummy time for her). It would be too big for a bumbo tray, but I just tested it and it fits on our high chair tray. I have a decent size high chair though (Graco). Also, some of the reviews (on Amazon) said something about kids pinching their fingers in the doors by the cow, but its been updated and those doors aren't there anymore.
