We are going to finish paying off the medical bills, one more credit card to payoff, get my laptop fixed, and buy lo's next carseat, the rest in savings.
we save a portion to pay for DD's summer daycare (it is more expensive than in-school because it is longer), we have a large bill to pay and we hope to have some leftover to pay for me to take the CA bar.
With money we have already saved- buy a car, pay off a credit card and help family out. These things won't blow the whole wad, we plan to keep an emergency fund plus 3 months expenses in savings.
Keep on renovating. We have an old victorian and DH wants to "restore" it. Did you realize old wood (called reclaimed wood) costs 3X as much as new wood (like from Home depot). Yup, I didnt know that either...
Another tid-bit: if you want oak floors which are native in North America, its dirt cheap, but if you want cherry (native in brazil) then its way more expensive. I dont care, I want cherry, but DH says: but all the brazilians will be envious of your oak floors. UM>>> I dont know any brazilians....
fix the bathroom! Our tub has been out of order for about a year (there was no pregnant bathtub time for me ) and I'm a little tired of washing my hands over a bowl and then pouring it into the toilet since the sink won't drain!
Hmm...I'm not sure. Probably put it away in savings as either down payment money or a "safety net" since we want to buy our 1st home this summer. I do want to use some to buy J's next carseat & a highchair instead of having to plan/save over the course of a few months.
Re: What are you gonna do with your tax return?

Sock it away in savings. And some home remodeling stuff - like new insulation and a new door from the garage to the house.
You know, fun stuff
I posted this above but we're getting engaged!
Bf's uncle is a tax guy and he said we should get around $2500 for having DD, plus whatever else we get back. Hope he's right!

We should stuff it away in savings, but..
Pay off our car and get new couches!! If we have any leftover after that, we're going to try and get a nice bedroom set.
