Flow, a Pilates studio in Lincoln Park, offers prenatal Pilates on Sundays. I absolutely LOVE the Bar Method and I attend class 2 to 3 times per week. They have a studio in Lakeview and one downtown on the corner of Wacker and Lake (which is right across the street from my office so it's very convenient). Bar Method really focuses on your deep core muscles...all those muscles we will need for pushing and bouncing back after delivery. It is also a great upper and lower body workout (think serious butt work!!). The Lakeview studio offers prenatal classes every othr Saturday. You can take regular classes up until your due date (with doctor's approval) but the prenatal class teaches you modifcations that you might need as you go along.
I also love Spinning during pregnancy. It's a great cardio workout and it's non-impact. Before getting pregnant, I was a triathlete and occasional marathon runner. I still jog a day or two per week but I go pretty slow and only cover about 3 miles.
